During the last year  every household , business and activity has been affected due to the global pandemic. Seems we have had early victory over covid-19 and then we as Indians had to fight this pandemic again , now more than ever.

The killer

There are multiple precautions to be taken and every one may or may not have benefits to it. The idea that there is a killer present around us has already shaken us to the core . This pandemic has posed grave threat to our emotional , financial and logical existence . The sense of being is under a threat so real that it actually raises a question whether or not we will survive , i hope we do.

How we see our business in Covid-19

We at AboutKart have been in ecommerce business for a while now , business has been good but for a last couple of months we have seen an increase in the business of disposable tableware and cutlery.We have had requests from consumers asking us to deliver disposable plates and cups to their homes .To have heard or read this line nothing seems unusual , just a regular line from a regular article. But wait it is not we have had unusual requests from mothers and fathers  who are unable to share plates with children or vice-versa due to the either of the people affected by covid-19 or covid positive so to say.Due to this very pandemic people have to sit eat and drink separately using disposable plates and cups.

Deliveries at Aboutkart

There was a certain customer who was having the same problem of not being able to share plates with her child and the delivery was being delayed owing to unavailability of manpower.Under this circumstance our MD picked up the parcel and upon the request of this lady client went and delivered this parcel to her home.Some people might think this to be abnormal but at Aboutkart we care .

The idea of disposable cups and plates and cutlery

I think these are smart kids and smart parents who have started doing what they should do and stopped doing what they shouldn’t.

In the Pre Covid-19 period this disposable cups and plates were used majorly for party and gatherings and now fate it seems is not without the sense of irony that these same disposable plates and cups are being used for separation and isolation from our loved ones.

We at Aboutkart hope that this pandemic goes away soon and that these disposable table ware cups and plates are used for the purpose we think they were meant for

Do’s

• Use separate plates and cups for affected
• Try to use disposable ware
• Stock up on daily supplies
• Use separate cutlery for people who are not affected but share the same house with the affected or covid-19 positive
• Sanitize your hands regularly and if possible sanitize your house and other things like remote , keys etc. which are supposedly touched by multiple people
• Follow the guidlines given by state and central government

Dont’s

• Do not share cutlery bed food with affected people
• Dont take food from other people plates not because you dont love them , but because you love them
• Dont travel unless absolutely necessary

We are not medical practitioners we are same as you , affected by the pandemic .
